Welcome to Five Dot Design DBA Kristen Becker (“Artist,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By purchasing artwork, prints, commissions, Mail Club subscriptions, or related products from our websites, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are intended to create clear expectations, protect the integrity of the artwork, and ensure a smooth purchasing experience.

Subscription-based Mail Club artwork and correspondence

Availability of all artwork is subject to change without notice.
Orders & Payments
Originals, Prints, and In-Stock Artwork
Please allow up to 1 week for in-house processing before shipment.
Commissioned Work
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin all commissions. The remaining balance, along with any shipping, framing, and insurance costs, must be paid in full before shipment or delivery.
Payment plans are not offered for commissions unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Shipping & Fulfillment
We currently ship within the United States only.
Please allow up to 1 week for in-house processing.
Final delivery timelines are carrier-dependent.
Tracking availability depends on the shipping method selected at checkout.
Insurance is included for commissioned artwork when applicable.
Mail Club shipments do not include tracking.
Once an order has been transferred to the postal carrier, responsibility for delays, loss, or damage rests with the carrier.

Returns, Refunds, and Damaged Items
All sales are considered final.
We do not accept returns or exchanges on original artwork, prints, commissions, Mail Club items, or limited releases.
Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 14 days of delivery confirmation.
To help determine the best resolution, please include: - clear photographs of the damaged item - photographs of packaging damage (if applicable) - a written description of the issue
Damaged items are assessed on an individual basis, and the best course of correction will be determined based on the nature of the damage.
Commission deposits are non-refundable.
Color, Materials, and Handmade Variations
We make every effort to accurately represent artwork online. However: - colors may vary slightly depending on screen settings and monitor calibration - handmade work may include slight variations, texture differences, and natural imperfections
These qualities are considered part of the character and originality of the piece.
Copyright & Licensing
Copyright & Personal Use
All artwork remains the sole intellectual property of Five Dot Design DBA Kristen Becker.
Purchase of artwork does not transfer copyright ownership.
Buyers may: - display artwork in personal spaces - gift artwork - share images of the artwork on social media with credit to Kristen Becker
Buyers may not: - reproduce artwork in any format - resell prints, scans, or digital copies - use artwork for commercial purposes - alter or create derivative works for resale or distribution
Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.
Licensing
Commercial or brand usage rights are granted only through a separate written licensing agreement.
No artwork purchase includes commercial, editorial, product, packaging, or promotional usage rights unless explicitly stated in a signed agreement.
Commission Terms
Commissioned work is collaborative and guided by the Artist’s creative process.
Timeline
Commission timelines begin at a minimum of 3 months, though timing may vary depending on project scope and studio schedule.
Feedback & Revisions
Progress photos may be shared throughout the process. Feedback is welcome during these milestones.
If the scope of the project changes after work begins, any additional costs will be discussed and approved before continuing.
The Artist retains full artistic license regarding style, composition, and final creative interpretation.
Approval
A final photo may be shared for approval unless the client has requested the piece remain a surprise.
Communication Delays
If no client communication is received for 14 days without a prior conversation, work will pause.
Resuming the project will require an additional payment, and a new timeline will be established.
Right to Decline or Cancel
The Artist reserves the right to decline or cancel any commission request at any time.
If the Artist cancels a commission after work has begun, a 50% refund of monies paid will be issued.
Mail Club Terms
Mail Club is a subscription-based offering featuring original designed correspondence and collectible mailed artwork.
Subscriptions may be canceled at any time
No tracking is provided for Mail Club shipments
Mail Club can sell out for the month.
All Mail Club artwork is copyrighted under Five Dot Design and is intended for personal enjoyment or gifting only.
Mail Club artwork may not be resold, reproduced, scanned, redistributed, or used commercially.
Pre-Orders & Limited Releases
Pre-orders and limited release drops may be offered first to email subscribers before opening to the general public.
Release dates and shipping timelines for pre-orders are estimated and may shift based on production, framing, printing, or packaging timelines.
Availability is limited and not guaranteed until checkout is completed.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Five Dot Design DBA Kristen Becker is not liable for: - postal carrier delays - lost packages after carrier acceptance - incidental or consequential damages - indirect damages resulting from purchase, delay, or inability to use the artwork
Liability is limited to the purchase price of the item.
Updates to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Changes become effective immediately upon posting to our website.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
